Mr. Ramzan is a Barrister from the Honorable Society of Lincoln’s Inn and Managing Partner of Ramzan Law Associates (Advocates & Legal Consultants). Mr. Ramzan has worked extensively in areas of Power, Procurement, Health, Regulatory, Consumer, I.T, ADR and International law besides representing Clients at different forums including the superior courts of Pakistan. Amongst his clients are the Ministry of Water and Power, WAPDA, NTDCL, Government of the Punjab P&SHD, SAPS, PQD besides other state and sub-state entities.
Mr. Ramzan has advised the Government of Pakistan on issues of international law and has drafted project reports, rendered advisory opinion and participated in several meetings with national and international organizations. He has assisted the Judge Advocate General of Pakistan Army and Pakistan Air force, the judges of the Supreme Court of Pakistan on diverse areas of law besides being a recourse person for the ICRC on international humanitarian law. He also served as a Director at the Research Society of International Law (“RSIL”). Mr. Ramzan frequently delivers lectures at the National Defense University (“NDU”) and the Foreign Services Academy (“FSA”) of Pakistan and other state and sub-state entities on various areas of international law. Mr. Ramzan is a US State Alumni of the International Visitors Leadership Program (IVLP) organized by the US Department of State where he represented the country and interacted with top US State authorities. Mr. Ramzan is the founding chairman of the international law committee at the Lahore High Court Bar Association and has authored numerous research articles and research papers and has appeared on television programs on diverse areas of law. He also teaches international law in law colleges in Lahore. Mr. Ramzan has trained more than two hundred law students which are working in various leading law firm in Pakistan.
